Welcome at the site of Dimdy Shelties

We are Lucie and Peter Furer and together with our two daughters Isa and Lara we live in Boven-Leeuwen, a small village in the Netherlands.
If anyone would have told us in 1995, when we selected our first Sheltiebitch Yoshi, that in the year of 2007 we would have four Shelties (in full Shetland Sheepdog), we would call those people for crazy. However, in the meantime it has come that far.

Given the number of dogs, but also because we would like to breed a litter we requested a Kennelname. In the name Dimdy you find the initials of our first five Shelties Daan, Ice, Megan, Denzell and Yoshi. Denzell unfortunately passed away in 2006 and Megan in 2008. But they'll always live on in our hearts. Moreover we had the opportunity to own one of Denzell's two daughters, namely Ice.

Through our site we want to inform you about the Sheltie and our own Shelties in particular.
Shelties are beautiful dogs, nevertheless one may not forget that they are working dogs. Therefore you also find information about agility at our site.
